Flying Colours Events was engaged to create the South Melbourne Street Fair on behalf of the South Melbourne Business Association. Working closely with the City of Port Phillip and Local Traders, we developed the event objectives, designed the event to ensure benefits to traders extended long past the event day itself.

|Activating Local Business||80 participating organisations. Almost exclusively local participation.|
|Economic Benefit||Estimated $1-2m additional sales on the day.Businesses reporting 30% to 600% increases. Both sale and premium priced items.|
|Awareness||The event generated approx $500,000 worth of Public Relations value for South Melbourne.|
|Inclusiveness||Involved a broad range of Retail, Hospitality, Services and Community.|
|Goodwill||Positive feedback from public, participants, non-participants, council, police and sponsors.|
